Common mistakes
- Robben Island and the Cape Floral Region Protected Areas are both in the Western Cape, which trips learners who assume every South African World Heritage Site question wants a different province for each site named -- the real memo only accepts a second, different site in the SAME province if the first one given was in the Eastern Cape. Learners also frequently confuse UNESCO's actual role (declaring and monitoring sites, facilitating protection) with a tourism marketing role.
