Homework Assist
Homework Help & Homework Assist
Homework Assist is ReClass’s guided homework help. A learner adds the question they’re stuck on, by typing it or uploading a photo, and works through it in five steps: understand the question, plan an approach, solve it, check the answer, and reflect on what they learned.
It’s built for the next question as much as this one. Hints come one at a time, and the full solution only opens once the learner has used every hint and tried the step twice.
Stuck on a homework question?
Often the problem isn’t the whole question. It’s knowing where to start, or one idea that hasn’t clicked yet. Homework Assist breaks the question into steps and asks the learner to do each one, instead of doing it for them. If a step keeps going wrong, it can offer an easier related question to build up from.
Every question adds to the bigger picture
Each question a learner works through is recorded as learning evidence for its topic. Over time, that builds their ReClass Learning Passport: a per-topic picture of what they’re confident in and where more practice could help.
For parents
When you know your child needs help but can’t teach the subject yourself, Homework Assist gives them guided support between classes. You can pause Homework Assist for your child at any time, and learning support or escalation information can appear on your parent dashboard when they need more help.
When a tutor makes more sense
Some topics need a person. If a learner is still stuck, Homework Assist points them to verified tutors for their subject and grade on ReClass. If they already work with a tutoring centre on ReClass, they can alert their centre tutor directly.
Built with guardrails
ReClass is deliberate about how its AI behaves and what parents can control. The AI Trust Centre explains the guardrails in plain language.
