Common mistakes

  • A full, exact icon name is required -- "the Pyramids" instead of "the Great Pyramids of Giza", or naming only the city ("Pisa") instead of the landmark ("the Leaning Tower of Pisa"), loses the mark on the real memo. Learners also often give a feature of the destination generally instead of the specific physical or cultural feature the question asks about (e.g. why a canyon's rock layers draw tourists, not just that it is "big").
