Common mistakes

  • Defining a term with only half of the definition. For two marks, “human factors causing ill health” needs both the behaviour and its effect on health.
  • Answering only the first part of a question that says “In EACH answer, also indicate …”. The second part carries its own mark.
  • Writing one short line for an “analyse” point. Full marks need a statement, an elaboration, a qualification and an outcome.
